Greetings all, today is a short post because I got a little behind this week on writing; I found out Thursday that I was selected for Lieutenant Commander, which I'm very excited about. It's a big achievement and I couldn't have done it without my family and friends' support.

This week's short yet sweet post is something I've wanted to share with you all for a while: a fantastic resource for those with an interest in the islands of Micronesia: the University of Guam Micronesia Area Resarch Center (UOG MARC). This is a fantastic group of people who are dedicated to preserving and teaching the history of these diverse islands, their people, and culture.

Whether you're a student, history buff, or just looking for something to do on Guam on a rainy day, the MARC is there to help put some history into your hands. Check them out!
